Our Story

I always played sports growing up in a rural area in Southside Virginia. Football, basketball, baseball, track, etc.
If it involved running and competition I was a part of it growing up. As with all sports comes the injuries, so high school football brought the knee trouble with inflammation and everything that comes with that.
After high school and college started working like other classmates but was always intrigued by business. I had always loved fruit juice from a kid but it was the kind out of the grocery store that is high in sugar and mostly water.
After all the years working in IT, the family took a trip to Italy in May 2025 and came across a juice bar were the owner made a fresh juice right in front of us and it was delicious. It was not just that the juice was great but it sparked in me an idea that this was something I could do myself as I love to cook and modify recipes for my own taste.
I came home and thought about that juice shop for some months but was nervous on how to start any business. I went to a local farmers market one day and a Jamaican food truck was there. My daughter and I talked to the owner and I said I wanted a juice business. The owner said well when you get your recipes together you can showcase them at her food truck but I would need to do it in the next three weeks before the end of the farmers market for the season.
I thought that would be great but was still nervous, thinking ‘who is going to buy my juice’, what if no one likes it, every reason not to start. I waited almost to the last day and on a Friday night I made three different juice recipes and headed out to the farmers market the next morning.
Long story short, we sold out of the juice and have not stopped since. The feedback from the customers and the feeling of doing something to help someone else is indescribable.
This journey is just starting and looking to offer more people an all natural alternative to the drinks in the store on the shelves.
Come and ride with Mr. Juice to a healthy lifestyle.
